Here is the Emerald Gecko, otherwise known as Phelsuma Andamanesis (Andaman Island Day Gecko). This little critter is endemic to these islands but also has sub-species found in Madagascar and other Indian Ocean islands.They are active during the day and usually inhibit banana trees and coconut palms feeding on insects, nectar and pollen…..We’ve even had a few come down do a sip of beer now and again!!!.
